Claudia is a Latin jazz instrumental composed by Chucho Valdés. It was first recorded by the Cuban group Irakere in April 1979 and released in 1980 on Irakere’s album. The tune blends jazz with Afro-Cuban rhythms and showcases Valdés’s piano work. It has since been recorded by other artists and appears on later releases, including the 2003 album We Could Make Such Beautiful Music Together by Chucho Valdés with Federico Britos and Bebo Valdés.
