How My Heart Sings is a 1964 jazz studio album by The Bill Evans Trio - Bill Evans on piano, Chuck Israels bass, and Paul Motian on drums. The title track How My Heart Sings is a waltz written by Earl Zindars and was first recorded in 1962 during the same Moon Beams sessions; it is noted for a meter shift in a 4/4 interlude and has become a jazz standard. The album, released by Riverside and produced by Orrin Keepnews, also features Evans originals Walking Up, 34 Skidoo, and Show-Type Tune, along with covers such as I Should Care, In Your Own Sweet Way, Ev’rything I Love, and Summertime. It runs about 48 minutes and was later issued with Moon Beams as The Second Trio in 1977, with a 1989 CD reissue adding a bonus alternate take of In Your Own Sweet Way.
